Welcome to PenGenie. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle and protect your inputs, developer files, and credentials when you interact with our website and browser-based tools.

2. Information Processing & Data Boundaries

We process information according to strict technical boundaries:

  • Local-First Tool Inputs: The code, JSON blocks, YAML schemas, base64 strings, or tokens you paste into our client-side tools are processed 100% locally in your browser thread. This data is never sent to our servers, logged, or cached.
  • Proxy Audit Checks: For tools requiring external connections (like the Redirect Inspector, HTTP Header Auditor, or Sitemap Crawler), target URLs are queried via our secure serverless functions to bypass CORS limits. These requests are stateless; no domain logs or headers are recorded.
  • Anonymous Usage Stats: We track overall site page views using Plausible Analytics. This is a cookieless, GDPR-compliant analytics platform that does not collect personal identifiers or cross-site profiles.
  • Optional Account Data: If you choose to register, we secure your identity credentials using Supabase Auth.

3. Data Security and Zero Retention

We do not store or persist data submitted to our formatting or validator workspaces. Your session inputs reside solely in browser memory and are permanently wiped as soon as you close or reload the page tab. We do not use your code inputs to train any models.

4. Cookies Policy

PenGenie utilizes only essential security cookies necessary for user session authorization. We do not place advertising tracking pixels or retargeting cookies on your device.

5. Third-Party Subprocessors

We partner with top-tier hosting and database providers to support our platform infrastructure:

  • Vercel: Platform hosting and edge operations.
  • Supabase: Database infrastructure (optional logged-in settings).
  • Razorpay: Secure payment gateway (if subscribing to premium workspaces).
