The Story
As a computer science student in Andhra Pradesh, India, I found myself constantly frustrated by the landscape of online web utilities. You either had to deal with completely unusable, ad-ridden free websites that bloated your browser and tracked your data, or pay expensive monthly subscriptions in USD for basic checking tools.
For a student, indie hacker, or search marketer in a developing economy, those subscriptions add up fast. I realized there was a massive gap in the market: a high-fidelity, privacy-first, developer-grade utility suite built with the accessibility of a free, browser-based tier.
That's how PenGenie was born. We started as an open-source experiment to build a better canonical checker and robots.txt validator. Within weeks, we expanded to JSON formatters, schema validators, and URL redirect checkers. Today, we are proud to offer 40+ specialized browser-based tools designed to instantly streamline your development and SEO workflows.
